BIOGRAPHY

Advent Nathanael is an Indonesian visual artist and digital illustrator, currently studying in Singapore. He is still in search of his own distinctive art style. His main interests are digital illustrations and watercolor painting. His main focus is fictional storytelling, fantasy and sci-fi, which leads to his practice mostly based on illustrations, concept art, and comics. He is currently leaving painting behind to practice more on digital illustrations, but is also open to learn new techniques. His interest in arts and storytelling started during primary school where he and his friends collaboratively created their own story. Each person in the collective created their own characters and background stories and combined all of them into one collaborative story. Ever since then, he is determined to bring the stories to life through illustrations.

The name 'Corvori' was created from a word play, a combination of two words;

 

Corvus (Crow) and Mori (Death)
